Sidewall Shingles

Product Details

Sidewall shingles are composed of kiln-dried Western Red Cedar Shingles. The shingles are trimmed so side edges are parallel and the ends are cut smooth at a right angle to the side edges. This provides owners with an architecturally uniform shingle that will complement traditional and modern, residential and commercial structures.

Sidewall shingles are manufactured from the best Western Red Cedar, a naturally durable wood product for exterior applications. We pride ourselves on offering the finest grades available on the market. The durability and longevity of cedar provides maximum protection from the elements including wind, rain, hail and freeze thaw.

When properly applied sidewall shingles require little maintenance. The natural preservatives in genuine Western Red Cedar allow the shingles to weather naturally to a stately gray color. The shingles may also be stained or painted for added life and protection. A quality oil-base stain or paint is recommended if a finish is to be applied. A factory applied oil based primer which is applied on all sides, is also available upon request.

For the right look, turn to Star Lumber for the highest quality cedar products. Sidewall shingles are the genuine choice for quality, strength and beauty.
